Covid-19: Protection for tenants
Notice period for most tenancies has been extended until 30 September 2020. During this time, landlords must give a minimum of three months notice when asking tenants to leave.
Possession proceedings have been suspended until 23 August 2020. This means that if a landlord applied for possession before 27 March 2020, the case will be put on hold and no new possession claims will be processed.
